ATTENTION MEMBERS: November 7, 2007--We received information indicating that a fraudulent email is being sent to some of our members soliciting debit card information. The email, from "Credit Union Antifraud Department," claims that the credit union is launching a new security system to make your account more secure & that your debit card had to be deactiviated. It goes on to request that you call a phone number in the email to re-activate your card. THIS EMAIL IS ENTIRELY FRAUDULENT, WE HAVE NOT LAUNCHED A NEW SECURITY SYSTEM AND HAVE NOT DEACTIVATED YOUR CARD FOR THIS REASON. DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL OR YOU WILL RISK HAVING YOUR DEBIT CARD EXPOSED TO FRAUD. IF YOU HAVE ALREADY RESPONDED TO THIS EMAIL, CONTACT OUR OFFICE IMMEDIATELY AT 601-442-4382.
